Analytic semigroups and optimal regularity in parabolic problems (Q5894769)

This is a reprint of the 1995 original for which a detailed review has been given in [\textit{A. Lunardi}, Analytic semigroups and optimal regularity in parabolic problems. Basel: Birkhäuser (1995; Zbl 0816.35001)]. By now, it can be considered as a standard reference on analytic semigroups and regularity theory for parabolic problems. The book develops the basics of interpolation theory and, on general Banach spaces, the theory of analytic semigroups whose generators are not necessarily densely defined. The presentation is focused on classical solutions with continuous or Hölder continuous derivatives which allows the treatment of fully nonlinear equations.
