Oscillation of second order neutral differential equations (Q5895413)

The second order linear neutral differential-difference equation with variable coefficients of the form: \[ (1)\quad y''(t)-cy''(t- \tau)+P(t)y(t-\sigma (t))=0,\quad t\geq t_ 0 \] is considered. Some sufficient conditions for oscillation of bounded solutions of equation (1) with P(t)\(\leq 0\) (unstable type equation) and some sufficient conditions for oscillation of every solution of equation (1) with P(t)\(\geq 0\), \(\sigma (t)\equiv \sigma =const\) (stable type equation) are obtained.
