The purpose of this paper is to review the main contributions on ''Microlocal Analysis'' in the real analytic category by the authors in the past fifteen years. However, there are only the compact statements of the principal results procured by the authors without proofs and some explanations on them. It is not easy to understand the contents of this paper with little knowledge about this area. Therefore, it should be very beneficial for such readers to study the introductory works [e.g., the authors and \textit{M. Sato}, Lect. Notes Math. 287, 263-529 (1973; Zbl 0277.46039); the authors and \textit{T. Kimura,} Fundamentals of algebraic analysis, Princeton Univ. Press, to appear; the first author, Systems of microdifferential equations (1983; Zbl 0521.58057)]. On the other hand, this paper is very convenient for the readers who understand the outline of the theory of microlocal analysis. The authors begin with the definitions of microfunctions and microdifferential operators and give a compact explanation of their recent results on holonomic systems with regular singularities and local monodromies of them. Moreover, for some important theorems, the authors point to the paper where the complete proofs are given. When we refer to the many papers by the authors, it is often difficult to find where the result is that we are looking for. However this review paper could help us to learn their papers efficiently.
