Let \(f\) be \(2\pi\)-periodic function Lebesgue integrable over \([-\pi,\pi]\). Without loss of generality it is assumed that the constant term in the Fourier series representation for \(f\) is zero and that \[ f(t)\simeq \sum^\infty_{n=1} (a_n\cos nt+ b_n\sin nt)\equiv \sum^\infty_{n=1} A_n(t). \] \textit{R. Mohanty} [J. Lond. Math. Soc. 25, 67--72 (1950; Zbl 0035.33602)] proved that the \(|R,\log n,1|\) summability of the factored Fourier series \(\sum {A_n(t)\over\log(n+ 1)}\) at \(t= x\) is a local property of \(f\). This was followed by some improvement and generalization by various authors. \textit{B. E. Rhodes} and \textit{E. Savas} proved a general result including all the known previous results. Also, they proved a summability result in [Appl. Math. Comput. 153, No. 2, 445-452 (2004; Zbl 1058.42001)]. Two general results are proven in this paper generalizing the theorems of Rhoades and Savas.
