A note on absolute summability factors of infinite series (Q5903282)

The main purpose of this note is to prove a theorem on the absolute summability factors for Cesàro summability of series, which improves upon a previous result of the author [Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. India, sect. A 25, 191-200 (1959; Zbl 0102.048)] and also rectifies some deficiencies in the proof of that result. Some new results on absolute Riesz summability factors of Fourier series are also given.
