A multiplicative semigroup S is said to be factorizable if \(S=AB\), where A and B are proper subsemigroups of S. The pair (A,B) is called a factorization of S, with factors A and B. We investigate the semigroups that admit a factorization (A,B) such that the condition (\(\forall a,a'\in A\), b,b'\(\in B)\) \(ab=a'b'\Rightarrow a=a'\) and \(b=b'\) holds.
