For example the following assertion is proved. Let \(f\in L_ p(R)\) (p\(\geq 1)\) and let \(u_ f\) be a solution of the Dirichlet problem on the half-plane \(D=\{[x,y]\); \(y>0\}\) with the boundary condition f (that is \(u_ f\) is harmonic on D, \(u_ f|_{y=0}=f)\). Let r be a natural number, \(\omega\) a modulus of continuity such that \(\int^{1}_{0}(\omega (y)/y)dy<\infty\), \(A>0\) a constant. If for \(y>0\), \(\| u_ f(\cdot,y)-f(\cdot)\| \leq Ay^ r\omega (y)\) \((\|... \|\) denotes the \(L_ p\)-norm) then f coincides almost everywhere with a function which has absolutely continuous derivative \(f^{(r-1)}\) and such that \(f^{(r)}\in L_ p(R)\).
