In the author's paper in ibid. 5, 209-237 (1986; Zbl 0596.52006); Theorems 4.5 and 7.4, the embedding theorems of \textit{L. Hörmander} [Ark. Mat. 3, 181-186 (1955; Zbl 0064.105)] and \textit{H. Rådström} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 3, 165-169 (1952; Zbl 0046.333)] are improved by taking into account the close connection between the inclusion of sets as an order relation and the induced topology on the cones of (nonempty) closed bounded convex or compact convex subsets of a Hausdorff locally convex vector space. Parts of these results were obtained earlier by \textit{A. G. Pinsker} [Tr. Leningr., Inzh.-Ekon. In-ta 63, 13-17 (1966)] and \textit{M. G. Rabinovich} [Sib. Math. J. 8, 275-279 (1967); translation from Sib. Mat. Zh. 8, 376-383 (1967; Zbl 0158.134) and Sib. Math. J. 8, 1064- 1070 (1967); translation from Sib. Mat. Zh. 8, 1405-1415 (1967; Zbl 0194.144)]; see also \textit{H. Hudzik}, \textit{J. Musielak}, and \textit{R. Urbański} [Bull. Acad. Pol. Sci., Ser. Sci. Math. 27, 157-162 (1979; Zbl 0413.46009)]. I am indebted to Z. Lipecki for drawing my attention to these papers, and to A. Gal for providing a translation of the paper of A. G. Pinsker.
