Consider the system of ODEs (1) \(dx/dt=\omega (x)\), \(x(t_ 0)=x_ 0\) and the transformation (2) \(x=\exp (\mu Z(\bar x))\bar x\) where \(\mu\) is a parameter characterizing the group and z is an operator in the set of first-order linear partial differential operators. If (2) takes (1) into a system \(d\bar x/dt=\omega(\bar x)\) then (1) is invariant under a local one-parameter Lie group, represented as a Lie series (2). The authors give the algorithm of the method of asymptotic decomposition of system (1) with a small parameter which is a development of the averaging method of \textit{N. N. Bogolyubov} and \textit{Yu. A. Mitropol'skij} [Asymptotic methods in the theory of nonlinear oscillatrions (1974; Zbl 0303.34043)].
