Nonlinear comparison theorems on graphs (Q5905409)

The authors investigate the nonlinear equation \((p(x)u')'+f(x,u)u=0\) considered on a geometric graph \(\Gamma\). This paper is a continuation of the research initiated by the first author and \textit{O. M. Penkin} [Differ. Equations 25, No. 7, 802-809 (1989); translation from Differ. Urav. 25, No. 7, 1141-1150 (1989; Zbl 0715.34048)], where the extension of the classical Sturm comparison theory to the linear second order equations on a geometric graph is discussed.
