A positive integer \(n\) is called square-full if \(p^2|n\) for every prime factor \(p\) of \(n\). Let \(A(x)\) denote the number of square-full integers not exceeding \(x\). In the present paper the author considers the expression \[ \Delta(x) = A(x) - \frac{\zeta(\frac{3}{2})}{\zeta(3)} x^{\frac{1}{2}} - \frac{\zeta(\frac{2}{3})}{\zeta(2)} x^{\frac{1}{3}} \] and deduces the bound \(\Delta(x) \ll x^{\frac{1}{7}+ \varepsilon}\) for \(\varepsilon >0\) from the Riemann Hypothesis. This result improves the exponent \(4/27\) obtained by \textit{Y.-C. Cai} in [Acta Math. Sin. 13, 269-280 (1997; Zbl 0913.11040)] under the same assumption.
