Following \textit{A. Bialostocki} [Isr. J. Math. 41, 261-273 (1982; Zbl 0492.20003)], a subgroup \(U\) of a finite group \(G\) is said to be a \(B\)-\(\mathcal N\)-injector of \(G\) if \(U\) is a maximal nilpotent subgroup of \(G\) containing an element of \({\mathcal A}_2(G)\), where \({\mathcal A}_2(G)=\{A\leq G\mid A\) has maximal order among all nilpotent subgroups of class \(\leq 2\}\). H. Bender proved that these subgroups of \(G\) contain every nilpotent subgroup of \(G\) which they normalize. The classical \(\mathcal N\)-injectors in an arbitrary finite group \(G\) are the subgroups \(U\leq G\) such that for every subnormal subgroup \(N\) of \(G\), \(U\cap N\) is a maximal nilpotent subgroup of \(N\). In this paper it is proved the following Theorem. Let \(G\) be a finite group and let \(U\) be a nilpotent subgroup of \(G\) containing every \(U\)-invariant nilpotent subgroup of \(G\). Then \(U\) is an \(\mathcal N\)-injector of \(G\). From this theorem and Bender's result it follows that every \(B\)-\(\mathcal N\)-injector of \(G\) is an \(\mathcal N\)-injector of \(G\). This yields also a new proof for the existence of \(\mathcal N\)-injectors in arbitrary finite groups [\textit{P. Förster}, Bull. Aust. Math. Soc. 32, 293-297 (1985; Zbl 0573.20021), \textit{M. J. Iranzo}, \textit{F. Pérez Monasor}, Isr. J. Math. 56, 97-101 (1986; Zbl 0611.20010)].
