    Let \(M^ n\) be an \(n\)-dimensional, compact, totally real, minimal submanifold of an \(n\)-dimensional quaternionic projective space \(QP^ n(c)\) of constant quaternionic sectional curvature \(c\). The author proves the following results: (1) If the scalar curvature \(\rho\) of \(M\) satisfies \(\rho \geq (n - 2) (5n^ 2 + 4n + 1)c/4 (5n + 2)\), or if the sectional curvature \(K_ M\) of \(M\) satisfies \(K_ M \geq (n - 2)c/8n\), then \(M\) is either totally geodesic in \(QP^ n(c)\) or \(n = 2\) and \(M\) is a flat surface in \(QP^ 2(c)\) with parallel second fundamental form and parallel normal subbundle of fiber dimension four. (2) If \(n \geq 4\) and the Ricci curvature \(\text{Ric}\) of \(M\) satisfies \(\text{Ric} \geq (n - 2 - 1/n) c/4\), then \(M\) is either totally geodesic in \(QP^ n(c)\) or \(n = 4\) and \(M\) is a locally symmetric Einstein manifold of non-constant curvature. (3) If \(n = 3\) and \(\text{Ric} > c/6\) or \(\rho > 5c/6\), then \(M\) is totally geodesic in \(QP^ 3(c)\).
