Existence results for initial value problems for neutral functional differential equations (Q5906620)

Existence results for initial value problems for the neutral functional differential equation \({d\over dt} [x(t)- g(t,x_ t)]= f(t,x_ t)\), \(t\in [0,T]\); \(x_ 0=\varphi\), are given. The results are based on the Leray-Schauder alternative and rely on a priori bounds on solutions. Applications to certain integro-differential equations are also given.
