Decision theory (Q5906897)

This is the 4th edition of a well known textbook (cf. Zbl 0491.90001, Zbl 0491.90002 and Zbl 0876.90003 for reviews of earlier editions). Besides some improvements and extensions there are new chapters on decision making within groups (theory of voting). The book contains chapters on decision making when the consequences are deterministic or uncertain. The main part deals with decisions under risk (Bernoulli; cash equivalent, risk aversion, optimization in single- and multiperiod case). The last two chapters are concerned with methods of information acquiring, complexity of models and with decision making within groups.
