On global periodicity of difference equations (Q5906988)

A necessary and sufficient condition for the difference equations \(y_{n+1}= f(y_n,\dots, y_{n-k+1})\), \(k\geq 2\), \(n= 0,1,2,\dots\), to possess the global periodicity property with the same period \(p\) together with some simple applications are established. The paper concludes with some interesting open problems for research workers.
