The Lax representation for the equations of free motion of an \(m\)-dimensional rigid body was found by Manakov. The author considers a new Lax representation for the multidimensional Manakov system on the Lie algebra \(so(m)\) and obtains multidimensional generalizations of the integrable Steklov--Lyapunov systems of motion of a rigid body in an ideal fluid.
