    For a function \(f:\mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}\) and a positive real \(\eta \) let \[ p_{\eta }(x)\;(\text{resp. }q_{\eta }(x) ) = \sup \biggl\{ r \in (0,1];\;\forall_{h \neq 0}| h| < r \Longrightarrow \biggl| \frac{1}{h}\int_x^{x+h}f(t)\,dt - f(x)\biggr| < \eta \biggr\}\;(\text{resp.}\leq \eta). \] It is proved that if \(f\) is a bounded measurable function approximately at \(x_0\) then \(p_{\eta }\) (\(q_{\eta }\)) is lower (upper) semicontinuous at \(x_0\). These results are related to the SAC problem [\textit{Z. Grande}, Real Anal. Exch. 21, No. 2, 637--647 (1995; Zbl 0879.26020)].
