    If \(f\) is meromorphic in the plane and \(S\) is any set, put \(E_ f(S) = \cup \{z/f(z) - a = 0\}\) where the union is taken over all \(a\) in \(S\) and a zero of multiplicity \(m\) is repeated \(m\)-times. \(S\) is a unique range set (URS) if for any two nonconstant entire functions \(f\) and \(g\) the condition \(E_ f(S) = E_ g (S)\) implies \(f = g\). The main result of the paper is: let \(n,m\) be positive integers such that \(n > m \geq 5\), \(n \geq 15\) and \(n,m\) are relatively prime; further, let \(a,b\) be non-zero constants such that \(w^ n + aw^ m + b = 0\) has \(n\) distinct roots \(w_ i\). If \(c\) and \(d(\neq 0)\) are constants the \(S = \{c+dw_ i,\;1 \leq i \leq n\}\) is a URS.
