Among others, the following theorem is proved: Let \(P\) be an arbitrary countable set in \(I^d\), where \(I:=[0,1]\) and \(d\geq 2\) is an integer. If the \(d\)-multiple trigonometric series \[ \sum_{n\in\mathbb{Z}^d} a+ne^{2\pi in\cdot x},\quad n=(n_1,\dots,n_d),\quad x=(x_1,\dots,x_d),\tag{\(*\)} \] converges to a finite function \(f\) on \((I\backslash P)\times I^{d-1}\) and if \(f(x)\geq\chi(x)\), where \(\chi\in L^1(I^d)\), then \(f\in L^1(I^d)\) and \((*)\) is the Fourier series of \(f\). In particular, if series \((*)\) converges to a finite, nonnegative function \(f\) everywhere, except possibly at countably many points, then \(f\) is integrable and \((*)\) is the Fourier series of \(f\).
