      Consider the Liénard system NEWLINE\[NEWLINEdu/dt= v- F(t,u),\quad dv/dt= -g(t,u),\tag{\(*\)}NEWLINE\]NEWLINE where \(F\) and \(g\) are \(2\pi\)-periodic in \(t\). Under the essential conditions NEWLINE\[NEWLINE\begin{gathered} 0< p\leq\liminf_{u\to-\infty} {g(t,u)\over u}\leq \limsup_{u\to-\infty} {g(t,u)\over u}\leq q<+\infty,\\ \lim_{u\to+\infty} {g(t,u)\over u}\geq s> 0,\\ a_{\pm}\leq \liminf_{u\to\pm\infty} {F(t,u)\over u}\leq \limsup_{u\to\pm\infty} {F(t,u)\over u}\leq b_{\pm},\end{gathered}NEWLINE\]NEWLINE the author proves the existence of at least one \(2\pi\)-periodic solution of \((*)\).
