The author presents a thermo-viscoelastic constitutive model at finite strain by using irreversible thermodynamics with internal variables. The constitutive law obtained is compatible with the principle of dissipation. The model is formulated in the form of volumetric/deviatoric responses. Finally, the author discusses a piecewise isothermal approximation to the model.
