Evolutionary dynamics on infinite strategy spaces (Q5927698)

This paper extends the previous work for studying evolutionary dynamics with finite strategy spaces. A simple condition is specified under which the continuous time replicator dynamics are well defined for the case of infinite strategy spaces. New conditions for stability are obtained. The authors provide example which shows that stability results that are taken for granted in the finite strategy case need no apply in the infinite case. The result which connects the static and dynamic stability concepts is stated. The authors also apply this theory to a number of applications like the Nash demand game, war of attrition, linear-quadratic games, the harvest preemption game and games with mixed strategies.
