This paper may be seen as a continuation of a recent paper by \textit{A. R. Miller} and \textit{I. S. Moskowitz} [J. Comput. Appl. Math. 91, 179-190 (1998; Zbl 0933.33003)]. For the generalized incomplete gamma function \(\Gamma(\nu,x;z) =\int^\infty_x t^{\nu-1} e^{-t-z/t}dt\), the author obtains the reduction formula NEWLINE\[NEWLINE\Gamma(\pm n,z;z^2) =z^{\pm n}\bigl[K_n(2z)\pm e^{-2z}U_n (2z)\bigr],NEWLINE\]NEWLINE where \(n\) is a nonnegative integer and \(U_n\) is a certain sum of products of the form \(K_p(z)I_q(z)\); as usual, \(K\) and \(I\) denote modified Bessel functions. The formula is derived in two ways from results involving incomplete Weber integrals of \(I\) and \(K\) given in the above-mentioned paper. As part of the second derivation, the author obtains some new reduction formulas for incomplete Weber integrals. Finally, from the results obtained the author derives a number of reduction formulas for the Kampé de Fériet functions \(F^{0:2;1}_{2:0;0} [x,y]\), \(F_{1:0,1}^{1:0;0} [x,y]\), and \(F_{1:0;0}^{0:1;0} [x,y]\).
