Let \(H^p\) denote the well-known Hardy classes of functions analytic in the unit disk and for the nontangential boundary values \(f(e^{i \theta})\) of \(f\in H^p\) let \(\omega_p (\delta,f)\), \(\delta\in [0,\pi]\), be the integral modulus of continuity of order \(p\) of the boundary values. For a function \(\omega: [0,\pi] \to[0, \infty)\) continuous and increasing, which is positive on \((0,\pi]\) and fulfills \(\omega(0)=0\) the Lipschitz space \(\Lambda (p,\omega)\) consists of those \(f\in H^p\) for which \(\omega_p (\delta,f)=O (\omega (\delta))\), \(\delta\to 0\). The authors consider those spaces \(\Lambda(p, \omega)\) for which in addition \(\int^\delta_0 t^{-1}\omega (t)dt\leq C\omega (\delta)\) and \(\int^\pi_\delta t^{-2} \omega(t)\leq C\delta^{-1}\omega( \delta)\). For them, they generalize some theorems on power series with Hadamard gaps, polynomial approximation and radial variation, which have been proved before for classes contained in \(\Lambda(p,\omega)\).
