An invertible sheaf \(L\) on a projective scheme \(X'\) is said to satisfy property \(N_p\) if it is very ample and if property \(N_p\), as introduced by M. Green in 1984, holds for the scheme \(X=\varphi_{|L|} (X')\). Here the authors study a weak version of this property, which is relevant when studying minimal free resolutions of projections of curves.
