Consider the boundary value problem \[ x''=g(t,x,y)+h(t,x,y),t\in (0,1), \] \[ x(0)\cos\alpha-x'(0)\sin\alpha=A,\qquad x(1)\cos\beta-x'(1)\sin\beta=B, \] where \(g\) is continuous, and \(\alpha, \beta, A \) and \( B\) are constants. By an upper and lower solution method, the author gives a proof for the existence of a solution to this problem.
