Thin bases of order two (Q5929398)

If \(A(n)\) denotes the counting function of a set \(A\), the author shows the existence of bases \(A,B,D\) and for any \(\varepsilon>0\) of a basis \(C_\varepsilon\) all of order two (\(A+A={\mathbb N}_0\)) such that \(\liminf(A(n)/\sqrt{n})=2\) and \(\limsup (A(n)/\sqrt{n})=2\sqrt{5/3}\), \(\liminf (B(n)/\sqrt{n})=\sqrt{7/2}\), \(\liminf(C_\varepsilon(n)/\sqrt{n})=(1+\varepsilon)3\sqrt{2/5}\) and \(\lim (D(n)/\sqrt{n})=10\sqrt{1/6}\root 4 \of {5/3}\).
