The author gives a counterexample to the uniqueness of the Cauchy problem. He proves that for \((L_\nu)\) a positive increasing sequence satisfying and \[ \sum^\infty_1(\nu L^{1/2}_\nu)^{-1}< \infty, \] there are \(u\) and \(a\in C^\infty(\Omega)\), \(\Omega= \{(t,x,y)\in \mathbb{R}^3;|y|< 1\}\), such that \(\text{supp }a= \text{supp }u= \{(t, x,y)\in \Omega:t\geq 0\}\) \[ (D_t- 2D_x D_y) u+ au= 0, \] \[ |D^\nu u|+|D^\nu a|\leq C^{\nu+ 1}(\nu L_\nu)^\nu,\quad \nu= 0,1,\dots\;. \]
