Let \(A\) be a finite dimensional algebra over an algebraically closed field and let \(T\) be a tilting \(A\)-module. There are nice relations between the category of \(A\)-modules and the category of \(B\)-modules where \(B\) is the endomorphism ring of a tilting module \(T\) and so it is interesting to know when two given algebras are related through this tilting process. In the paper under review the authors prove that if \(A\) and \(B\) are two algebras derived equivalent to a connected hereditary Noetherian category with a tilting complex, then there is a sequence of algebras \(A_0,A_1,\dots,A_m\) and tilting modules \(T_i\in\text{mod }A_i\), for \(i=0,\dots,m-1\) such that \(A_0=A\), \(A_m=B\) and \(A_{i+1}=\text{End}_{A_i}T_i\), for \(i=0,\dots,m-1\).
