For a holomorphic function \(f\) in a neighborhood of a compact set \(K\) in a complex manifold \(M\) of dimension \(n\), we denote by \(c_K(f)\) the supremum of all real numbers \(c\) such that \(|f|^{-2c}\) is integrable on some neighborhood of \(K\). Demailly and Kollár make the following conjecture A: For every compact set \(L\) containing \(K\) in its interior, there is a number \(\alpha= \alpha(f,K,L)> 0\) such that \(\sup_L|g-f|< \alpha\) for a holomorphic function \(g\) implies \(c_K(g)\geq c_K(f)\). The authors prove that this conjecture A is true when \(n=2\). The authors also give a proof for conjecture B, which asserts a property for the set \(C(n)\) of all \(c_0(f)\) for every holomorphic function \(f\) in a neighborhood of the origin \(0\) of \(\mathbb{C}^n\), when \(n= 2\).
