The paper is related to the differential games with simple motion on the manifolds with non-unique shortest geodesic lines which have specific structure of singular surfaces. The game on two-dimensional cone is a typical example of these games. The authors investigate the games of pursuit on a two-dimensional rotation hyperboloid. This surface is considered as a representative of one-parametric family of second order surfaces, including the hyperboloids and cones of one and two sheets. This allows using the game on the cone as a generating solution for the analysis of the game on a hyperboloid of one or two sheets. In the proof of the optimality for the game value the Bellman-Isaacs equation is applied. Also, it is shown that the results of this paper are extensions of the previous work of the authors [\textit{A. A. Melikyan, N. V. Ovakimyan}, and \textit{L. L. Harutiunian}, J. Optim. Theory. Appl. 98, 515-543 (1998; Zbl 0915.90290)].
