This paper deals with a generalized Bolza problem of calculus of variations. The data functions are neither smooth, nor convex. Necessary optimality conditions can be written in the Euler-Lagrange form, or in the Hamiltonian form. The authors study the link between both forms. Related results are established in [\textit{R. T. Rockafellar}, SIAM J. Control Optimization 34, No. 4, 1300-1314 (1996; Zbl 0878.49012)] and [\textit{A. Ioffe}, Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 349, No. 7, 2871-2900 (1997; Zbl 0876.49024)].
