In the cylinder \(G= {\mathcal D}\times (0,T)\), \(x\in D\subset \mathbb{R}^n\), a nonlocal boundary value problem for the following equation is considered: \[ \sum^{2s}_{i=1} k_i(t,x)\partial^i_t u- (-1)^m M_{2m}(x) u+ c(t,x) u= f(t,x), \] where \(M_{2m}(x)\) is a strictly elliptic operator of the \(2m\)-order. No conditions are imposed on the sign of \(k_{2s}(t,x)\) in \(G\). The existence and uniqueness of a generalized solution are proved.
