The author considers the Lavrent'ev-Bitsadze equation \[ u_{xx}+\text{sgn} y\;u_{yy}=0 \tag{1} \] in the domain \(D\) bounded by (a) the segment \(A'A\) of the axis \(x=0\), \(y\in[-1,a]\); (b) the segment \(A'B\) of the characteristic \(x-y=1\) of (1); (c) a curve \(\sigma\) that has the endpoints \(A=(0,a)\) and \(B=(1,0)\), lies in the sector \(\{x\geq 0,y\geq 0\}\) and is taken by a conformal mapping of the upper half-plane into some domain, the boundary of which is the union of the finite set of Jordan arcs, and also the Frankl problem for it: Find a regular solution \(u(x,y)\) of (1) in \(D\) for \(y\neq 0,y\neq-x\) such that: (1) \(u(x,y)\) is continuous in \(\overline D\); (2) \(u_x,u_y\) are continuous in \(D\) except the segment \(OC\) of the characteristic \(x+y=0,C=(1/2,-1/2)\); (3) the boundary conditions: \(u|_\sigma=0,\) \(u_x(0,y)=0,\;y\in[-1,a],\) \(u(0,y)-u(0,-y)=f(y),\) \(y\in[-1,1]\) with a given odd function \(f\). The author proved the solvability for \(f\in C^2[0,a],f''\) belongs to a Hölder class on \([0,1]\).
