The author considers an inverse problem associated with an initial-boundary value problem for a hyperbolic equation. Using the method of \textit{A. L. Bukhgejm} and \textit{M. V. Klibanov} [Sov. Math., Dokl. 24, 244-247 (1981; Zbl 0497.35082)] and some Carleman estimates, some local and global uniqueness results are proved for the solution to this inverse problem.
