    For \(R>0\), let \(E^{n,R}\) denote the space of all \(f\in\mathcal O(\mathbb C^n)\) of exponential spherical type \(\leq R\) (i.e. \(\forall_{\varepsilon>0}\) \(\exists_{A_\varepsilon>0}\) \(\forall_{z\in\mathbb C^n}: |f(z)|\leq A_\varepsilon e^{(R+\varepsilon)\|z\|}\)). Put \[ \begin{aligned} F^{n,R} &:= \{f\in E^{n,R}: f|_{\mathbb R^n}\in L_1(\mathbb R^n),\;f(\mathbb R^n)\subset\mathbb R,\;\widehat f(0)\geq 0\},\\ G^{n,R} &:= \{f\in F^{n,R}:\widehat f(0)=0,\;\widehat f\geq 0\}, \end{aligned} \] where \(\widehat f(\nu)=\int_{\mathbb R^n} f(x)e^{-i\nu x} dx\), \(\nu\in\mathbb R^n\), denotes the Fourier transform of \(f|_{\mathbb R^n}\). The author characterizes extremal functions for the following two problems: (1) Find \(\inf\{\sup\{\|x\|: x\in\mathbb R^n, f(x)>0\}: f\in F^{n,R}\setminus\{0\}\}\). (2) Find \(\inf\{\sup\{\|x\|: x\in\mathbb R^n, f(x)<0\}: f\in G^{n,R}\setminus\{0\}\}\).
