The author applies his earlier results on compactness of his \(\mathcal S\)-net spaces [Appl. Categ. Struct. 6, No. 4, 515-525 (1998; Zbl 0917.54029)] to compactifications. In addition to some basic results, he constructs one-point compactifications, defines Alexandrov compactifications and proves existence of Čech-Stone compactification for some limit \(\mathcal S\)-net spaces.
