The paper is concerned with numerical prediction of the motion of suspended inertialess neutrally buoyant rigid particles in unbounded double-periodic linear shear flow. The two-dimensional unit-cell formalism and boundary element method (BEM) derived from the single-layer boundary integral formulation of Stokes flow are used. Important details of numerical implementation of the chosen BEM variant and the limitations of the algorithm are described. Results on dynamical and rheological suspension properties for several initial conditions and particle concentrations in the case of circular and elliptical particles are presented graphically and discussed.
