The aim is to examine the behaviour of the blade as the main part of wind turbine since it transmits forces to all other parts of the structure. The model is based on the three-dimensional beam theory and takes into account membrane, transversal shear, flexion and free torsion effects. The authors use experimental data and numerical results obtained by a parametric CAD interpolation of aerodynamic poles by Bezier patch under geometrical constrains. The finite element method is employed for the full solution of dynamic problem.
