Homotopy equivalence of simplicial sets with a group action (Q5931996)

For a finite group \(G\), the author defines the action of \(G\) on simplicial sets and categories, and he generalizes well-known theorems about homeomorphism and homotopy equivalence of simplicial sets and categories to the case of \(G\)-simplicial sets and \(G\)-categories. Thus, he proves theorems about \(G\)-homotopy type of \(G\)-simplicial sets and \(G\)-categories, theorems about equivariant homotopy invariance of homotopy colimits and theorems about \(G\)-homotopy equivalence of \(G\)-preordered sets, and he applies them to categories defined by Dwyer in connection with homology decomposition [\textit{W. G. Dwyer}, Topology 36, No. 4, 783-804 (1997; Zbl 0872.55014); Proc. Symp. Pure Math. 63, 197-220 (1998; Zbl 0891.55021)].
