\textit{M. Christ} and \textit{D. Geller} showed [Ann. Math. (2) 135, No. 3, 551-566 (1992; Zbl 0758.35024)] that the Szegő kernel function of the real analytic surface \(\Im z_2 = (\Re z_1)^{2m}\) in \(\mathbb{C}^2\) fails to be real analytic off the diagonal when the integer~\(m\) is at least~\(2\). Here the author shows that a similar failure of boundary analyticity occurs for both the Bergman and Szegő kernel functions of every weakly pseudoconvex tube domain in \(\mathbb{C}^{2}\) with real analytic boundary. For related results on the analytic singularities of the Bergman kernel function, see the work of \textit{G. Francsics} and \textit{N. Hanges} [Duke Math. J. 108, No. 3, 539-580 (2001)].
