The coisotropic subgroups of the quantum group \(\text{SL}_q(2,\mathbb{R})\) are studied and the corresponding homogeneous spaces are constructed. Three types of coisotropic subgroups are obtained that classically correspond to symmetry groups of one-sheeted and two-sheeted hyperboloids, and to the symmetry group of a light-cone minus its vertex, respectively. The authors show that in the \(q\)-deformed case, the first two types remain undeformed as coalgebras, while the last one has a coalgebra structure that cannot be extended to a Hopf algebra. The resulting coalgebra \(\mathbb{R}_q\) is not cosemisimple, and the corresponding quantum homogeneous spaces are the analogues of exceptional quantum spheres [\textit{P.\ Podleś}, Lett. Math. Phys. 14, 193-202 (1987; Zbl 0634.46054)]. Unlike the exceptional quantum spheres, however, they have classical points and thus are embeddable in quantum homogeneous spaces.
