Let \( (M ^ 3, g, T) \) be a three-dimensional Sasakian manifold, where \( T \) is a unitary Killing vector field, endowed with the orientation given by the frame \( T, X, \nabla _ X T \) for any \( X \in T ^{\perp} \setminus \{ 0 \} \). Then \( (M, g) \) is a spin manifold. Using the weak Killing equation [see \textit{Th. Friedrich} and \textit{E. C. Kim}, J. Geom. Phys. 33, 128--172 (2000; Zbl 0961.53023)], the author proves that if the scalar curvature \( S \) of \( (M, g) \) does not vanish and \( (M, g) \) admits locally a non-trivial Einstein spinor, then \( S \) is constant. He also proves that if \( S \) is constantly zero, then there is no Einstein spinor.
