The author exposes an approach to finding solutions to nonlinear equations (Veselov-Novikov equation, Landau-Lifschitz equation and others) in theta-functions of nonprincipally polarized Abelian varieties. As a result, it is proven that in the space of theta-functions defined on nonprincipally polarized Abelian varieties there exists a basis which consists of raising theta-functions with characteristics from isogenous principally polarized Abelian varieties. Moreover, the author shows that the formulas in Jacobi theta-functions bounded on Abelian subvarieties and their translations can be rewritten in theta-functions of these subvarieties. The results obtained are demonstrated on some examples.
