The authors study lattice substitution systems in Euclidean space, with special emphasis on aspects of aperiodic order. They derive criteria for such subsets to be a regular model set, based on a projection scheme with internal spaces of \(p\)-adic type. Such sets are then pure point diffractive and thus interesting examples of perfectly ordered, but aperiodic, point sets. As an application, it is shown that point sets derived from the sphinx tiling and the \(n\)-dimensional chair tiling fall into this class.
