A Markov model of crystallization is considered. Formation of germs of crystals is described by a nonhomogeneous time-position Poisson field. Configuration of the crystallized part of space is determined by a union of time-space cones with vertices at the points of the Poisson field. Forms and rates of increasing of these cones may depend on points of the space. Due to this property one can treat this model as a generalization of the well-known model of Kolmogorov and Avrami. For the proposed model a single point covering probability is expressed in terms of causal cones. The hazard function for a point to be covered (crystallized) is evaluated as a probability for some germs to belong to a boundary of this point causal cone.
