The paper deals with the class \(F(\alpha,m,M)\) of harmonic mappings \(f\) of the unit disc \(\Delta=|z|<1\) which is defined as follows: \[ f(z)=\text{Re} F(z)+i\text{Re} G(z) \] where \[ F=p_0\quad\text{and}\quad G=-i\int_0^z{p'_0(\xi)p(\xi) d\xi}, \] and \(p\) is any holomorphic function in \(\Delta\), \(\text{Re} p(z)>0\), \(z\in\Delta\), \(p(0)=1\). The constants \(\alpha, m, M\) are such that: \( 0<m<1<M \), \(0<\alpha<\alpha_0=\frac{1-m}{M-m}\leq{1\over 2}\) and the function \(p_0:\Delta\rightarrow\mathbb C\) is of the form \[ p_0(z;\alpha,m,M)=(1-\alpha)m+\alpha M+(\alpha_0-\alpha)(M-m)\frac{1+z}{1-z}+i\frac{M-m} {\pi}\log\frac{1-e^{i\alpha\pi}z}{1-e^{-i\alpha\pi}z}, \] where \(\log[\frac{1-e^{i\alpha\pi}z} {1-e^{-i\alpha\pi}z}t]|_{z=0}=0\). The function \(p_0\) is a conformal mapping of \(\Delta\) onto a half-plane \(\text{Re }w>m\) from which two vertical half--lines are removed. By using the Clunie-Sheil-Small theorem it is proved that all \(f\) from \(F(\alpha,m,M)\) are harmonic, univalent, sense-preserving, and convex in the direction of the imaginary axis. Moreover the author proves the Stieltjes-integral representation for the class \( F(\alpha,m,M)\), determines the extreme points of \(F(\alpha,m,M)\), and describes images of \(\Delta\) by the extreme points of the family \(F(\alpha,m,M)\).
