Products of hypergeometric functions and the zeros of \(_4 F_3\) polynomials (Q5934404)

The authors focus their attention on the \({_4F_3}\) hypergeometric polynomial of degree \(n\), namely \({_4F_3}(-n, a_2,a_3, a_4; b_1, b_2,b_3; z)\) in the cases where \({_4F_3}\) function can be expressed as the product of two Gauss hypergeometric polynomials. They show how recent results concering the zero distribution of Gauss hypergeometric polynomials can be used to obtain information about the location of the zeros of three types of \({_4F_3}\) hypergeometric polynomials. They show how the zeros of each polynomial behave as a constant parameter involved in the \({_4F_3}\) polynomial varies through real values and provide numerical and graphical evidence of this behavior using mathematica.
