Let \((X, \omega)\) be a symplectic manifold of dimension \(2m\). A form \(\alpha\in\Omega^k(M)\) is called symplectic harmonic if \(d\alpha=0=\delta\alpha\), where \(\delta=(-1)^{k+1}*d *\) and \(*\) is the symplectic star operator. Let \(\Omega^k_{\text{hr}}(M)\) be the subspace of symplectic harmonic \(k\)-forms and let \(h_k(M)=\dim H^k_{\text{hr}}(M)\), where \(H^k_{\text{hr}}(M)=\Omega^k_{\text{hr}}(M)/\text{Im} d \cap \Omega^k_{\text{hr}}(M)\). A closed smooth manifold \(M\) is called flexible if it admits a continuous family of symplectic forms \(\omega_t\) such that \(h_k(M,\omega_a)\neq h_k(M,\omega_b)\) for some \(k\). In this interesting paper the author characterize all 6-dimensional compact nilmanifolds equipped with symplectic forms and prove that there exist at least five 6-dimensional flexible nilmanifolds.
